What I know from literature is that Ballade no 1 in g-minor was his personal favorite.
He also valued Ballade no 2 very highly, and often played only the slow part of it for his pupils.
Other pieces that he liked to play very much are Scherzo no 1,  Etude in thirds op 25 no 6, also op 25 no 2 f -minor.
One of his absolute favorites was the Larghetto (2nd movement) of his Piano Concerto no 2 op.21, and he was particularly moved every time he heard it.
